Superhero Baby Shower!

Don't you just love the Superhero theme? Unfortunately, there's not a lot to choose from if you're trying to incorporate it into a baby shower. I threw a fabulous shower for my daughter who was having a baby boy. Here's some of the things we did for the shower.

INVITATIONS:

We loved this little onesie. It was perfect for our theme. You can find many options on Etsy.com for this theme. Have it edited, printed, and shipped to you to save time.

DECORATIONS:

I'm all about the decorations. Here are some of the ideas we used. Many are reasonably priced. Some are DIY.

This is a wall backdrop that is perfect to put behind food table or to use as a picture background. We ordered 2 and used them for both the ideas. You can find this on Amazon.com.

This adorable banner is perfect for the Superhero Baby theme! You can find it on Etsy.com and they'll send you a download. You can print on card stock paper and use twine or ribbon to hang.

This city backdrop is perfect for the Superhero Theme. Holds a good many cupcakes (about 25). We ordered 2 from Amazon.

These cupcake liners with picks are so cute and looked great on the city backdrop.

Of course no party is complete without balloons. You can find these on Amazon.com.

This is also a cute idea. We didn't use it, but it would look cute over a buffet or desert table. Easy to make. Buy the lanterns at the dollar story or party store and print out the icons and glue. Simple craft.

These cute sayings (above) look adorable as picks for table centerpieces. Just print out and glue back to back and insert a thin dowel.

These make cute confetti or layouts on tables.

These signs are big and perfect to display throughout your party.

Use fun masks and such for photo wall. We also brought inexpensive capes.

We made a clothesline for people to bring socks & bibs instead of wishing well. Printed the above cute little cutouts and hung them on the line.

For party favors, we ordered the popcorn boxes above, popped popcorn and added blue M&M's. You can do pink for baby girl too. We wrapped the boxes in cellophane and tied with a blue/pink ribbon.

As a gift for the mommy-to-be, we printed these cute signs out and used them as decoration, then gave them to her for use in the baby's room.

We purchased these name tags and wrote the food items on it for both the buffet and desert tables. Can find them at various places.

At the party entrance, we placed this sign and name tags above. All party invitees wore their Superhero names for the party.
